Miroslav Singer
(*1968) Graduated in Applied Mathematical Methods at the University of Economics in Prague. In 1995 Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Senior management positions in Expandia and PricewaterhouseCoopers (advising in restructuring). 2005-2010 Vice-Governor, 2010-2016 Governor of the Czech National Bank. Since January 2017, Director of Institutional Relations and Chief Economist at Generali CEE Holding, since January 2018 also member of the EXCO of the Holding. Chairman in the Supervisory Boards of Česká pojišťovna, member of Supervisory Board of Generali zavarovalnica, vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board of Moneta Money Bank. Awarded “Central Banker of the Year in Europe” for 2014.
