In addition to her work at Stimvia, Jana has a strong track record in building innovation ecosystems. As the founder and interim CEO of Prague.bio, a biotech cluster, she led the development of a network connecting researchers, startups, and industry players, helping to establish Prague as a center for biotech innovation. Her previous roles at i&i Prague and Charles University Innovation Prague further expanded the biotech ecosystem, focusing on strategic partnerships, research commercialization, and tech transfer, fostering greater collaboration between academia and industry.

Her contributions as Head of Innovation at the Centre for Investment, Development, and Innovation in Hradec Králové involved preparing the groundwork for a regional innovation center focused on biomedicine. In addition to driving ecosystem development, Jana has been actively involved in mentoring startups, guiding them through complex industry challenges, building strategic connections, and securing investments. She has contributed to advisory services on MDR certification and cybersecurity, areas increasingly critical to biotech and medical startups.

Jana’s educational background in regional policy, public administration, leadership, andragogy and international diplomacy, combined with her practical experience, has given her a well-rounded understanding of the complexities of innovation ecosystems. Her international network includes partners from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, and beyond.

She is also a seasoned public speaker, with extensive experience organizing and presenting at conferences and events, where she shares insights on the latest trends in biotech, digital health, technology marketing, and innovation strategies.
