Major Peterek is the Chief of the CISR Training Department of the 53rd Regiment of the Airborne Forces. During his career, he has undergone various specializations in different positions. He started at the lowest ranks and worked his way up to become an expert in electronic warfare with the 53rd BCT. Highlights from his career include deploying to Afghanistan as an EB Specialist, or commanding an EB Company. His long term focus has been on antidrone protection from detection, identification to soft kill elimination. As part of this effort, he has been a project manager in strategic level acquisition project (STARKOM tactical jammer project, where he pledged person of responsibility for the 53rd pPzEB), or research and development projects in the Army (CUAxS, DF Manpack, GERASIM…). In recent years, it has also very often tested new technologies for the Army in the field of EB / C-UAS, for example as part of experimental exercises called DRONE SHIELD.
