Zdeněk Tůma was Governor of the CNB (2000-2010). He was also a member of the General Council of the ECB and represented the Czech Republic in the IMF and the BIS.

Zdeněk returned to the private sector where he worked as a partner for financial services at KPMG (2011-2019). Currently, he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CSOB and a member of the Supervisory Board of K&H Bank in Hungary. 

Zdeněk lectures at Charles University, and he is a member of the Boards of several charitable organizations.
