After completing her Master’s degree at the Department of Genetics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava, she earned a PhD in Biochemistry. She completed her doctoral studies at the Centre of Biosciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
During this time, she focused on the study of a genetically determined disorder called Barth syndrome. She is the author and co-author of several scientific publications and has received multiple research grants.
While working at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, she also participated in research stays abroad, in Prague and Taiwan. She is currently working at DNA ERA as a Science Team Leader, where she is responsible for preparing materials for result evaluation, consulting with clients, and participating in educational activities.
