Abigail Denburg
Abby Denburg is the Vice President of Global Growth and Strategy at Insitu where she leads a team supporting Global Sales & Marketing and Enterprise Strategy.
Prior to joining Insitu, Abby was the Senior Manager for International Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) Business Development at Boeing, focusing on market shaping and strategy development. Previously, she served as the Senior Manager for Next Generation Product Support business development, working to improve customer outcomes through digital solutions. Abby oversaw global digital sales campaigns and developed market strategies while building and maintaining relationships with U.S. and international customers. She was previously a sales manager for International Government and Defense, building international support offerings, and an International Government Affairs Specialist for Boeing International, shaping international regulations and environments to facilitate the company’s interests abroad.
From 2012 through 2017, Abby worked at the U.S. Department of State, holding various positions during her time there, primarily in international defense policy. Abby served for four years in the office of the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security, managing a variety of functional and regional portfolios, including political-military affairs. Abby was also a Policy Advisor for the global Man-Portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) Taskforce and Advisor to the Special Envoy for Israel-Palestinian Affairs. In 2014, Abby received the Secretary’s Meritorious Honor Award for her work in Nigeria in support of the African Leaders Summit.
Abby graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, double majoring in Diplomatic History and Modern Middle Eastern Studies. She holds a master’s degree in international security studies from Georgetown University, where she was a two-time recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. In 2022, Abby was selected as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 under 40. She was an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2022 and is currently an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
