At Invest Hong Kong🇭🇰, Kim serves as the Deputy Head of Business and Talent Attraction in the Berlin Office covering 8 European countries (🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭🇵🇱🇨🇿🇸🇰🇸🇮🇭🇺).

Kim is a senior FDI advisor who has developed investment attraction strategies (sector analysis, go-to-market plans, value propositions, incentive schemes) for leading country investment promotion agencies (IPAs) and trained hundreds of their staff in Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Asia-Pacific.

On behalf of IPAs from the US and Middle East, he held various mandates as European or German market representative and lead generation manager identifying, contacting, and supporting expanding companies going overseas.

With a strong background in international economics, startup ecosystems and consulting, Kim has built a vast global network among innovation and technology professionals, tech entrepreneurs and ecosystem managers who he closely collaborates with.

He is regularly invited as keynote speaker, panelist and moderator at major tech events and conferences, e.g. Web Summit.

Outside of work, he is an artististic advisory board member of a Berlin-based orchestra, representative of a homeowners’ association and avid marathon runner.
