Emilia has been executing private equity investments in the Central European region for over 15 years. Prior to co-founding ESPIRA, Emília was the Head of the Czech Republic and Slovakia for PineBridge Investments CEE, a Central European focused private equity firm managing over €500 million. Earlier in her career, Emília was a member of the investment teams of Benson Oak Capital and Penta Investments. Emília has been involved in numerous transactions in a variety of sectors including health care, consumer goods, manufacturing and services. Emilia’s track-record encompasses deals ranging from early-stage, to control buyouts, buy-and-build, and late-stage growth capital investments.

Emília is also an active supporter and advocate for the power of impact investing in social enterprises via her non-executive role as a member of the investment committee of Tilia Impact Ventures. Tilia aims to support ‘impact-first’ entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic.

Emília graduated with honours with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica Slovakia.
