Igor Jex (1962), professor of physics at FJFI CTU in Prague. His research focuses on theoretical issues of quantum optics and quantum information theory. He works in the field of quantum walk theory, the theory of optical quantum networks, and open quantum systems. He has completed a number of long-term research stays and collaborates with many foreign institutes. He is an elected member of several foreign scientific societies.
