The first Czech woman to climb three of the world’s highest peaks – Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and K2, and together she has stood on the summits of five eight-thousanders. She is able to captivate her surroundings with her vigour, her optimism combined with her desire to do something is irresistible. Klára navigates the world of business, high mountains and family with ease and feminine grace, where she and her husband are raising their daughter Emma and son Cyril. Her climb up K2 was the subject of the documentary film K2 in Her Own Way, and her new book Nahoře blowká (Up There Blows) has recently been published.
