Economist focusing on the Czech economy and economic policy. Member of the analytical team of Česká spořitelna and of the Board of the Czech Economic Society, the Chairman of the Committee for Budget Forecasts. In the past he worked for many years at the Czech National Bank, mostly as an advisor to its Board. He lectured at the IMF, OECD etc. He holds a PhD in economic theory from Charles University. He has popularized economic and financial topics, having authored or co-authored several textbooks as well as books for the general public.
