Tomas did his Ph.D in physics at the Charles University and he is now a head of the Department of Spintronics in the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Recently his team has demonstrated a new principle of memories that can operate at THz speeds. As well he is a scientific advisor of an engineering company IGS with products in vehicle detection and smart city applications.
