Vaclav has been leading open source projects and global distributed R&D teams at Red Hat focusing on Kubernetes, MLOps and other projects in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Vaclav has been affiliated both with the Czech and US entity of Red Hat, where he was working closely in Boston with Matt Hicks and his team – Matt was SVP of Engineering during the time and now holds a position of Red Hat CEO. Vaclav worked in leadership of Red Hat Czech in addition to his global role during 2020-2023.
