Vladimír Bezděk has more than 20 years of experience in financial institutions, particularly in insurance, investments, and banking. He first worked for nine years in various positions at the Czech National Bank. He then moved to the private financial sector and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aegon Insurance, Generali Insurance in Slovakia, Penzijní společnost České pojišťovny, and ČSOB Pojišťovna. He has been a member of the Avanta Supervisory Board since June 2020 and, since July 2021, has been responsible for the management and development of the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since 2023, he has also been an advisor to the President of the Czech Republic.
