Vlastimil is an expert in starting and scaling companies and expanding into foreign markets. After several years of experience in the financial and insurance industry in the Czech Republic, he moved to Southeast Asia in 2012, where he worked and lived for many years. As a corporate development and expansion specialist, he managed the building of Home Credit India & Philippines’ overseas branches and as CEO, he led the Digital Bank project in the Philippines. He also co-founded Skype and launched digital lending platforms in Southeast Asia and introduced the region’s first “Buy Now, Pay Later” solution. In 2023, he and his family returned to the Czech Republic, and joined the Kardi Ai team as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer.
